Resilience Against Disinformation: PRG President Liliana Filip Joins a Discussion on Strategic Solutions for International Economic Relations
On February 21, 2023, the president of the Political Research Group, Liliana Filip, participated in a debate organized by the Euro-Atlantic Center for Resilience, under the auspices of the European-funded project “Strategic planning for strengthening resilience against disinformation and hybrid threats”, at the “Dunarea de Jos” University in Galati.
The event, entitled “Disinformation and Propaganda – Risk Factors in International Economic Relations”, provided a platform for dialogue between the government, academic, and private sectors to find solutions and strengthen resilience in the face of major challenges we are facing.
Liliana Filip contributed with a presentation on Romania’s connectivity, strategic partnerships, and regional relevance in the panel “Systemic Solutions for Achieving Resilience in the Ecosystem of International Economic Relations”. The presentation was given in the context of developments in the Black Sea region, but also equally important in the context of the prominent changes in the international system accentuated by the US-China economic competition.
The event offered an important opportunity for dialogue and collaboration among the various parties involved, given the importance of the topic and the major challenges facing Romania and the international community in general. The Political Research Group will continue to offer expertise and support such events to strengthen resilience and find systemic solutions to the problems we face.
